I feel for you, my grandfather was damn near invincible till all of a sudden he needed a 4 way bypass.
Hope your family is doing as well as they can be.

So sorry your Father & your family are having to go through this. My father has Alzheimer's & just got out of the hospital with pneumonia. He may have to move from assisted living to a nursing home. You are right, hug them while you have got them & tell them you love them often. Take care of yourselves & each other. Comfort & strength to you all in this difficult time.

Thanks all for the kind words and thoughts. My brother called me last night and said dad passed away very peacefully. He has gone home.
All of the arrangements have been taken care of and now we are just spending time with each other and telling some of the great stories surrounding my dad. He led a very healthy blessed life and did so much. Thanks again all of you. Robert

Sorry for your loss, Robert. I have a friend who's mother passed away and there was something he said that helped in his transition and that was "She is always in my heart". As long as he is in your heart, he will always be remembered and loved, a part of you.
