No it didn't, you are making it up in your head. I just read you can't get them in California.

I was joking with you 1troyd! It doesn't come across the same when typing it. The previous posting of them not being shipped to California.

ok cool :-) I had no issues what so ever getting mine ! It really does suck that there is no CARB sticker for it yet !! I mean the Z28 comes with a cone style air intake stock and our Zl1s came with the lame box, looks like a Honda civic to me !! I know they are not the same engine as the Z28, but just saying!!

I already stuck the carb sticker in my engine bay so I will be keeping it. My zl1 is actually a 2015. The k&n said no tune required. While I was at rpm motors I saw a 800 horse zl1 that had a RF installed it just looks like it has better fitment no gap need the strut tower. and a much larger air filter.

I Agree!

I bet the lack of gains was entirely related to atmospheric conditions. You can see that you averaged a fair amount less boost on the 2nd day. That is almost certainly a result of the weather.

I just received a replacement filter for my Roto-Fab shipped to Southern California last week! I guess I need to remove the Roto-Fab and new filter and send it back. If you have bought aftermarket parts, you know they always mark off road use only to escape any legal entrapments.
I thought it was an odd policy too:

Something is up because I ran the exact CAI and picked up 20 or more hp over stock a few years ago. Also, the K&N has a larger intact tract compared to other CAI's. It's 4.5" at MAF and 4" at the TB.

I love the feel of mine also. The car feels more peppy and has a great wine. I just can't understand less power than stock even though it was hotter the second day it was only 10 degrees hotter. I did do two pulls each day one hood open one hood closed. The exhaust sounds much better also now. I guess the true test will be when I install the RF and test again.
