Little update: My dome light went out again yesterday. My service writer was off work today, so I set up an appointment for tomorrow morning. Went and checked my fuses under the hood and none of them are blown.

Sean, I'm sorry I'm not the only one with this problem :/

fast34me, that's a pretty accurate wild ass guess. My dad keeps saying the same thing.

Jeff, thank you for the goodwill. I hope I can stop worrying about losing my lights soon.

And Ed, I won't even let my friends set foot in the car if they've been smoking anything! Funny, though.

Sorry it's been a while, but here's another update. My Camaro is still in the dealership and they're trying to figure out what's wrong and where.. so I'm driving a rental Malibu around for a few days unless the problem still persists.. also trying to work a deal with the dealership to get a new Camaro and transfer my exhaust and stuff over to the new one. We'll see what happens.

Uh oh! My signal light had been going out and giving me the "Check Rear Tail Lamp" message incrementally for about 3 weeks now and it finally got to a point where it was a consistent problem last week. I took it to the dealership this morning and they could not find a problem with it because the light is working fine now. I know they didn't check any wires or fuses based on how much time it wasn't in the garage. I know cars are not self healing so I suspect that I will have to make another trip to the dealer here soon. I'm still under warranty (34k), so if my problem snowballs like yours then at least I have it documented as a problem under warranty.

My headlight went out about 3 months ago, but they said it was a blown bulb so hopefully that was unrelated.

Well, I don't know if this problem with the Camaro will ever be completely fixed.. When I got to the dealer today, the Camaro had so many electrical testers code readers and laptops and hanging wires inside of it...I didn't even know what to think of it.

We ended up trading it in to the dealer and getting a brand new 2012 Summit White 2SS/RS Camaro and they transferred all of the performance goodies I had on my 2010 SS onto it. It was about that time to upgrade anyway. GM themselves actually sent us an apologetic email about the trouble I was having and gave me a nice credit to go toward my new Camaro Absolutely loving it. Just hope they can find out what the hell was really wrong with my last one :/ I want to see it on the road again.

Our right rear signal when out last month. Replaced it myself rather than go to the dealer. Now the left has gone. Never replaced so many bulbs in so few miles.....

Is there a recall?

+1 mine is doing same exact thing ..Dang I hate going to dealerships if its a short from wire's rubbing ..the rubb must be in same spot on all cars , I would think its to early for old wire's just to go bad ..
