Transmission Conversion

Hey guys,
I am new to the forums. Just out of curiosity, how difficult and how much money would a 2012 camaro auto to manual transmission conversion be/cost?
Thanks

well the manual cars have the better hp motor. So if you bought an auto and want a stick probably best to buy a stick car.

What are you trying to do?

I wouldnt bother. Why did you buy a auto and now want a manual? Just put a stall and a tune in that thing and your good to go.

your computer is for a auto, i believe there would be some computer related issues to deal with also to convert to a manual..and it would cost 1k just for a decent clutch to start with...so tranny and driveshaft and much more...3-4k to convert is a realistic number.. but i will have everything you need if interested...m6 with act dual clutch and dshaft...with the clutch pedal assy

My parents bought it for me for my birthday and I love manuals. Probably one of the top things i wanted in a new car. But they bought the auto. No complaints at all, absolutley love it. I was just curious at how much a swap was. I new it would be a couple thousand, just not sure how many couples. haha

mikepage0007: So how much would you sell me the whole package for?

He also has a V6 Camaro guys.

I'm not sure if anyone has done an Auto to Manual swap on a V6 Camaro.

If you really want a manual, you should do as suggested. You should trade your car. You might be able to find someone with a manual wanting an auto and you can make an even trade.
Or trade in your auto for a manual.

do you have a list of parts needed to make the conversion from auto to manual in a 2012 camaro 2ss?
