OK, well 450+ hp to the wheels sounds great and all, but how will the V6 transmissions hold up? as well as the diffs and drive axles.

If you've got a manual transmission you shouldn't have a problem with the drive axle, as its the same one used on the V8. I'm not sure about the transmission itself, though...

It has been said that the tranny can handle about 500hp. So we should be good and like said before for an extra $375 will get you the warranty.

Not sure about the manual transmission threshold for horse power. It will take up to about 345 foot pounds of torque according to the manufacturer.

If HP at wheels does come out to 435rwhp, that with a M6 that equates to 500.25hp at the crank. Now with a automatic then you will lose (worst case) an additional 3% loss to hp, which brings it to 487.2 hp with the auto.

If 500hp is the worst case with a m6, then I would love to see those results with LT headers with full exhaust set up. To see that number push close to maybe 550 with the additional bolt ons and tune would be well worth it, not to mention having some kind of notification placed on your car that says it is a 550hp beast. But 500 is low balling it so that to give room for variables.

Remember that chrome HPE550 emblem one the Hennessy?

Is it just me - or did the IPF supercharger marketing machine go quite? Maybe I missed a post or two related to performance??

They are integral exhaust manifolds! and it will have a composite (plastic) intake manifold.

I emailed IPF about their stand alone tune for naturally aspirated LLT's and Dave wrote me back and answered all of my questions. I wrote him back and encouraged him to engage customers here on this forum, I think it would definitely help his sales figures.
