Ideas for a Car?
Hey everybody
Right now I'm a freshman at southern illinois university studying auto tech. The auto tech program is off campus and is a pain to take the bus to everyday. I'm looking for a car to buy this summer (I know its early) for next year. I ofcourse am looking for a f-body. Probably a V6 manual for insurance, gas, and so I have enough money for the 5th gen when I graduate. I think I want to stay under 100K miles and want a 3800 V6. I have one now in my (parents) car and it's a great engine. So if anybody has any ideas for any other cars or knows of anyone selling, it would be a real help if you could let me know. Thanks!

wow. 12k OBO isn't bad for that Z28. From your post it looks like you are looking for a cheap F-bod primarily huh?
What's your budgeted price range?

Thanks camarospike. Those are some great offers but some of them are either too much or too many modifications. Ide like to find a car mostly stock. I dont mind and intake or exhaust system but you know what i mean.

another great car is something like a GTP they get good gas Milage, & are great sporty cars. Believe me I have seen some fast GTPs. The Supercharged 3800 V6 is great to mess with.
But Craigslist, autotrader, & Cars.com are all great sites to head when looking for a car.
