Dye coming off black leather seat

My 2011 SS has black leather seats. In the seat area the dye is deteriorating and now shows white areas. It is the passenger seat and has had very little use. I have tried Adams cleaner and conditioner and it gets worse. Anybody have a similar issue? Car has 5k miles so seat has seen little use.

Do you have a quality boars hair detailing brush? From your pics it looks like some of the pores on the seats are caked up with conditioner or some other junk. Try a diluted APC sprayed into a brush and use it to work the product into a foam on the leather. Then wipe with a microfiber utility towel. This may take a few attempts to loosen and lift the junk out of the leather.

That would be great news. What do you mean by a diluted APC? Where's the best place to get a boars hair brush? Don't want to risk making it worse.

I like these for agitating APC or leater cleaners on perf-leather.

I think he's talking about "all purpose cleaners".
