was just curious if the money was worth it now to pick one up to combo with the intake
It only flows about 1180 CFM but respoonds very well to porting. Anohter 170 CFM or so can be attined with a good port job. The bottom of hte throttle blade is pretty shrouded.

KDI makes an HX too. I have the cooler logic unit which is very nice.

I did the 102NW and had KDi do their complete blower and snout porting. Also went with their HX as well. The porting on the blower was extremely well done and the HX is VERY nice piece to say the least. Highly recommend both.

They open the snout all the way up to the 102 opening and then do a real nice transition into the blower housing. As far as the blower itself. You would have to see it truthfully. There is no area left untouched in the housing area. When Keith was explaining it to me over the phone I didn't appreciate the amount of work that was going into it until I got it back. But once you do a before and after its pretty amazing. You won't be disappointed.

off topic but I don't know why the heck GM didn't put a 90mm TB on the ZL1, CTS-V or ZR1 when they had the parts already from the LS7 which has been around since 2006. GM must've known these S/C cars get modded and the 90mm TB would've been a better baseline to start with.

At what size TB do you need to port the snout? Has anyone used a 95mm TB yet?

the snout is 87mm, so with any throttle body larger than that, porting the snout would be necessary.

I though the snout was 90mm. I have 90mm no porting on the snout.

maybe the back of the 87 and 90 are the same diameter? I assumed the 90 would be larger.

If you reach your fingers in and feel the transition between the throttle body and the snout is it smooth?
