Best to do it early and spread it out over time as you wait for your new car. Done this myself. Boxes of "important parts" stashed around the house. Keeps you busy when you get your car.

I've bought the basics so far, mostly for the drive home (750 miles). I bought a license plate holder so I don't get a ticket in every state between WI and NY and splash guards so I still have paint on my rear quarters when I make it home. The DRL to fog conversion kit was kind of a spur of the moment thing that was going to happen anyways .

The list of stuff to buy after she arrives is getting longer than I'd like, and I'm afraid to say that I don't see it slowing down anytimte soon .
