I agree with the others that we're just trying to be realistic with the pricing, though there are a hand full that will pay a whatever price. That's like less than 1% of us at this board, I want a Top Dog but could never afford one. I know the base Mustangs are about $19,000, so $22,000 for the base Camaro sounds good to me based on the Camaro being better in performance and style.

There will be people that will not pay more than $22,000 no matter what because they may have read this article. All I know is, if the Camaro promises a quality car and I can see that (sitting in the car), I won't be arguing if it's at 3-4 thousand more than the base Mustang. So my range is $22,000- $24,000. If they start at $22,000, as I promised in another thread, I'm buying several rounds of drinks for my co-workers!

The first rule of modding something that's not American is to not try to compete with modded V8 cars that are American. Really, they can run insane power with little investment. It's not even a fair fight.

Actually, there's one Lexus (can't think of which one) that I always thought looked just like a tarted up Toyota.

Lexus is, imo, the most bland of all the 'luxury' brands. Gimme a new CTS anyday...
