Thank you! I'm really jazzed at how they turned out. Based on pre-assembly weights they should be about 56 lbs but I'm going to take one off and weigh it to get an actual number. They should be about 9 lbs lighter than stock.

The wheels look good! Love the accent color! You should consider making your bowties the same color, or maybe some stripes.

Looks good! Funny that I read this thread for the first time today, because I decided today that when my car got here I was going to call her blue angel because as a kid, they were my favorite thing to go watch because I used to want to be a pilot and what not. But first come first serve. Congrats on the car and the new shoes! I will think of another name! :-)

Blue Angels are a team; you can name your car whatever you like, but another blue angel is perfectly fine.

Sounds good then! It would be awesome to get that yellow color in a permanent marker and have the blue angels team sign the cars strut tower or some part of it

Was at the Camaro5 SoCal Cars and Coffee meet last saturday and went to Hurst and got the short throw shifter. It feels so much more solid and precise and I love the short throw!

Doc, Blue Angel looks screamin! Im with you on the hockey stripe, the Blue Angels F-18s have that long stripe on the fuselage of their aircraft, so it would be perfect. Just my 2 cents, but it would look good. You and I got our cars on the same day!

The guys in the picture installing mine were the guys who actually engineered and designed it; we had a great opportunity at our meet as the Hurst guys normally don't do what they were doing for us. He was explaining the differences between what we were getting versus the GM version and I was impressed. The GM factory version which GM essentially designs is not that much different from the stock shifter; the throw reduction is about 25%. The ones he was showing us which we were getting that day were much stronger, much higher tech design, and the throw reduction is about 40% and boy can you feel it the moment you shift it. VERY glad I got it.

Nice! Yeah I've always loved the Blue Angels. I've been studying pics of their planes and I'm carefully working out ideas for my car. Here's a photoshop idea of hood spears, Blue Angel on the side, and revised bowties which were Abygale's suggestion and I really like:

Now I have to come up with something for the back of the car but I like this front; not too over-done.
