...like Pete says, we ain't givin up yet.....it's been a step by step process....enhancement wise. I at times see the glass half empty. We have those here who see an over abundance with optomism. I'll take comfort in the latter.

Though not very specific, Al o's interview with Autoline was very encouraging. He stated that they still weren't done with the fifth gen and that he was going to enjoy seeing Ford release the next gen Mustang first.

It's always better to compete when you know the competition. Didn't the NE Patriots do that for years(?)
GM will have to be competitive with the aging Camaro...special things will be done or they will just need to fire both the marketing and development departments.

....haha, the Pat's used spys and took notes.....Belichick is no dummy..., however the NFL frowned upon that activity . Agreed about the firings. Why sit back, play hide and seek, and wait and see? Be proactive, take the intitiative, and design something on a clean sheet of paper that is ground breaking where the competition has to climb the hill to counterattack.

I have a hard time seeing GM making a Z28 for just one year. The 2013s are almost out and 2015 brings the 6th gen....according to the rumars.

2013
2014
2015

How many special models has Chevy released for the 5th Gen since the 2010 arrived? Nothing new for three models years is a very long time.

Joe drove the 1LE, and gave quite a magnificent write up. In his ending, he wrote words to the effect addresing Camaro Z/28 hopefulls that there are enough power levels and models available where a Z/28 may not be needed at this time. Thats my 02. It may be a harbinger.

Joe is no longer on the forum. He disappeared with Dragoneye at C5FEST III. Some wanker called Mr. Wyndham claims to be him How much faith can you put in what a guy with a monocle that, eats crumpets and sticks out his pinkie to drink tea?

There is no way we'll go from here to the release of a 2016 Camaro without changes and that includes power-train.

How much are people be willing to pay for a 5th Gen Z/28 that outperforms the Boss 302 LS in every category? Over $50K?
