Any upcoming incentives?

With the "accessory incentive package" expiring November 1st, just was curious to see if anyone knew if GM was planning on offering any other incentives on 2010's (or even 2011's).

I'll be buying one soon, but I don't think it'll be before November. Would love to get a good financing rate offer or additional cash back.

I'm going to take a stab at a guess. Note this is a blind guess:
2010 - Same Incentives Extended, plus a possible $500-1000 cash incentive.
2011 - No Incentives, but hoping for something anyway. Best case scenario is $500 cash or interest rate, or small accessory package.

Nobody really knows yet what if any incentives will be offered. What I do know is, GM only offers low rate offers on cars that they have a lot of back log and stale inventory of, which the Camaro does not fall under so I'm willing to bet you won't see any low rate offers.

Also GM is stopping Cash Back incentives and instead going to free products. The only current Cash Back incentives you see is ones that went into effect before GM took this stance. I'm doubtful that they would offer a Cash Back incentive on the Camaro.

My guess is;
2010 - Current incentives stay the same until the end of the year, possibly increased.
2011 - It's been hinted that the '11s MIGHT get a small accessory package (if offered my guess is $500). Otherwise no incentives offered.

You will see very little "cash incentives" on the newer models.

Why? Because it hurts resale and residual values of the Gm product line. You WILL see more "accessory" type offers.

You will see private offers and such to previous owners, and more importantly, Pontiac owners.

Hey, CamaroScotty, will Chevy offer the Pontiac discount again? I got one earlier this year but was waiting for 2011 Camaro, so it expired. How can I get the discount?

This kills me. The train my car is on is set to arrive tomorrow night. So, I should be able to pick up my Camaro on Thursday. Someone please leak incentive info ASAP. I don't want to wait until Tuesday and get nothing for the wait, but I don't want to take delivery on Thursday just to know that if I waited 4-5 days I would get $500 in accessories. ($500 is my guess.)

A) If the train arrives Wednesday, there is NO WAY you will get the car Thursday. It normally takes 7-10 days for the car to be shipped to the dealer once it reaches the final rail yard.

B) NO ONE can leak the info as NO ONE knows yet. Not even the dealers have been told what the incentives are yet.
