Brake Replacement
Has anyone used rotors from BrakePerformance.com? If so, please let me know how you like them. I am going to put Hawk Ceramic pads w/slotted rotors; daily driver and not beaten on.

Trust me .. Check out Brakemotive on the ls1 tech boards.. I have ben running these rotors for 5 months and have no issues.. The only reason I got them is the vette guys said they have been running them with no issues for over a year and we all know how anal Vette guys are lol

Yes I have the Dimpled/Slotted rotors from Brake Performance. Also using their ceramic pads, and Granatelli stainless brake lines. I am very happy with the look and performance of all the products.
I chose the black zinc coated rotors. |

Quit being a pu$$y

Are those stock pads? I thought stock pads were the only ones with those roller skate weights. How is the brake dust on those?

I ordered my rotors from brake performance.com and I love the look and performance. The only down side that I had was when I ordered mine was that they were out of the pads but they did give me a small break on price. Yes the black coating does come off where the pad hits but when you have the dimpled and slotted rotors it tends to make then stand out. I would recomend their rotors to anyone.

The pads pictured here are from Brake Performance. They do come with the "Roller Skates" The Hawk pads do not. I am happy with the braking performance, no noise and minimal dust.
I chose the Black Zinc because it will look better for the long term. Yes the area where the pad contacts the rotor will wear off but the rest of the rotor will look good. Here is a before and after. Before, stock rotors. Rusty hubs, studs, and rotor faces. After. I cleaned and painted the hubs and studs. New Brake Performance Rotors installed. |

OP, I haven't had any issues with my Brake Performance slotted rotors and would recommend them especially for the price. Usually also do a few canyon runs/drives and as long as you maintain them properly (cool down period) I don't see them going anywhere. |
