Hey Keith do you know of any really cheap hotel rooms in fargo...such as like 50-60 for two people a night? and second question...anyone have a helmet I could borrow for that day? I plan on attending as it looks right now. Hopefully work will give it off to me now. Oh and a timetable would be nice so I know what time I need to leave.

Sorry Man, I don't really know of any cheap hotels, you'd probably be better off just doing a web search for hotel rooms. Try using Orbitz.com or Priceline.com or one of those search engines, that's your best bet.
I can't help you with a helmet either, I don't have one and I don't plan on racing. But I bet there will be plenty of others out there racing. I would hope that someone would let you borrow one. Have you tried looking on eBay or Craiglist or something for a helmet? I would think you could get one fairly cheap.
As far as the timetable, I can help you with that. The gates open at 10:00 am and racing starts at 12:00. I hope you can make it.

Hey, I'm trying to find someone that is going out to the Fargo Cruise Night this Thursday (June 3rd) who can print out some of these flyers and distribute them out there to any Camaro Owners they see (old and new)! I'm gonna be out of town and can't make it. Please let me know if anyone is willing to help out with advertising this event!!! We need all the participation we can get!!! Thanks.

This is sort of unrelated, but the whole helmet thing reminded me. Is Interstate Dragways an NHRA track with all the rules? For instance, if you were running in the 10's, would a cage be required? (not me, but just curious)

Well, I'm not an expert on NHRA rules, so I can't say for sure what the specific rules are. But according to their website it does appear that it is an NHRA sanctioned track. Your best bet is to try to contact them directly.

Just wanted to give everyone a fresh reminder about the Camaro Owners "Meet-N-Greet" coming up this Saturday (JUNE 12th) at Interstate Dragways. Please come out and join us. It will only cost $7 to get yourself and your car in the gate!!! I am hoping for a big turn out. Please come....

Wish you could join us, should be fun! But if nothing else try to make it out to a Fargo Cruise Night. They are held the first Thursday of every month (during the summer). Lots of nice cars and cruising!!!

I hate to tell you but due to things that i cannot control I will not be able to make it. I was super excited to go and told many camaro owners and I had a few say yes and they are going. But I sadly will not be able to go...Sorry Blazzin!

Well the Fargo-Moorhead Meet-N-Greet was a bust......RAINED OUT!!!! I am so very disappointed!!!! I will talk to the track management and see when I can get it rescheduled. More to come....

On another note, I found another car show in Bemidji, MN on June 20th (Father's Day)! Don't know if many Dads will be able to get away for it, but maybe that would be a good Father's Day gift!?!?!? I'll see what I can dig up for more information on it. I do know they will have the "portable" dyno there from Watertown, SD. I think I'm gonna go....

Sorry ot hear it was a wash... Cant do Bemidji this weekend unfortunately. Have to drive to clan in the van to the Cities for a wedding. Post some pics if you end up going!
