how so i remove stripes off spoiler?
i bought a spoiler off a forum member but it has the wrong color stripes on it. i removed one stripe and it left a lot of residu on the spoiler, and i tried claying it off but it woudnt come off.
so how do i take off the spoiler without laving any gunk, and how do i get the gunk off the spoiler from the spoiler that i already removed? |

If clay bar didn't work, did you try Goo Gone? If that doesn't work, I would say the only other option is wet sanding at 2000 grit and buff. Be very careful because the factory paint/clearcoat is very thin. You may end up re-painting/clearing. Sucks to say but is most likely to happen.

When I de-badged my Tahoe I used lacquer thinner to remove the residue, then had to buff the clear back to a shine.
