I got my pre-ordered car for MSRP and that was a great deal at the time.

Getting MSRP or under isn't a big deal now. But to get MSRP or under (in writing) back during the winter of 98/Spring 99 you got a smoking deal. When I got my 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS back in early June of 09 , I had offers for my car (used already driven off the lot) for more than MSRP.

That first summer (July/Aug of 09) the dealership where I got my car was getting thousands over MSRP for the few lot cars they got their hands on.

3,000 over when I ordered it last May 2009, wanted 5,000 over but I at least got them down to 3,000. I got used but it was still worth it.

Sticker price meaning : WINDOW sticker (MSRP).........

NOT counting USAA, GM card, CREDIT UNION DISCOUNTS or any of those Type discounts..

ALSO ....NOT with any DEALER ADD on's (like undercoating,wax job, window tinting ,window ID etching or any other
over priced dealer crap -that is just dealer markup)

GM dealer installed options (like factory GM strips or 21"wheels etc.) WOULD be part of STICKER.

I paid $37K which was $2K under sticker. My wife negotiated over email and when the price was right I just went and signed the papers. Awesome experience!

I purchashed my baby at sticker price on EBAY! The car was selling over sticker in Memphis. So I had to fly to St. Louis.
