Question MOD rear diffuser?

I just bought dual tips for MRT v2. Is it possible to just cut bigger outlets in the diffuser for the dual tips to fit thru? I thought I found a cheap solution for quad tips on my V6 but I don't want to spend all that $$$ on a brand new diffuser.

Its possible... but unless you are extremely good its going to look extremely ghetto. I looked into doing the same thing your talking about before deciding that $100 to get a 1le diffuser was worth the money.

The cheapest I can find the 1LE diffuser is $200 on ebay. Might have to bite the bullet but that's a lot for a piece of plastic. Thanks for the reply.

I purchased mine through gmpartsdirect for around $100 plus shipping and you just take off the old diffuser and the 1le diffuser mounts right up without any modification

Does that thing come off super easy? Looked like four screws, just snap it out?

the 1le diffuser mounts right up to it without modification

Edit: wasn't paying attention to who I was replying to... I am not sure about the 2015 model diffusers but the 2010-2013 models which the OP has are simple
