APR Splitter Rod Help!?!
Im installing my APR Carbon splitter but i wanted to know where is everyone mounting their rods to behind the grille?

Da fish are you having issues? Mine should be arriving anytime now. Will be removing front end for install. Not sure what people are having problems with?

Thanks, yeah I've thought about powder coating them. Might plasti-dip them to see how it looks first.

I'm goig to powder coat might gloss black I think.. Maybe matte black not sure

Shouldn't the support rods be attached to metal, like the inner bumper? I would think the downforce( it is a real splitter, not cosmetic) say at 120mph would damage the grill or bumper.

Yea what he said. I mounted mine below the lower grill and at 130 pop. This puts a ton of down force on the nose. I mounted a plate behind the bumper to screw into but it needs a place that is stronger. Over the winter ill be mounting real race stile struts and going higher on the nose. Like just Above the lower grill.

What bow tie is that on the front? Killer! I've seen most people mount to lower grill and that's what I'll be doing
