Cool Started my Night Fury Cam Install, LS3 conversion, stall converter, etc today!

So I finally started my install today and I have a few days off so Im not in a rush but I got the balancer, timing cover, water pump, oil pump, front fascia(for trans cooler install), radiator, fans, valve covers, rockers off.

My parts list:
Lethal Racing Night Fury Cam
Precision Industries Vigilante 3200 Stall Converter
LS3 Conversion
Powerbond 25% U/D Pulley
Comp Rocker Trunnion Upgrade
Melling Oil Pump
C5R Timing Chain
B & M trans cooler w/ Spal fan
EFI Live tuner with Lethal racing custom tune

See pictures, ill be updating as I go with hopefully an awesome video by this weekend.

Decided to go with the remote tune instead of dyno just because I would have to tow it to Lethal about 100 miles away, and the tuner costs less than a tow that far. So hopefully ill be able to get up to Lethal in the next month or two and dyno to see what my gains are.

Man I'm excited!! Good luck Chris!

PS. Let me know if you want a ZL1 style splitter for your front end. I'm taking my SS front end off this week to put a ZL1 on, and I can take it off and sell it to you for cheap.

You should have just pulled the engine out and do all the work on a engine stand and change the converter while the you have the engine out! One easy job not 2. You don't even have to pull the nose off either. Take off the intake, water pump, balancer and fans and it comes right the top! No need to pull the trans.

I agree with Terry. That's what Andy at ADM does. Only takes about 30 min to pull an engine out. Then much easier to work on that way.

The fascia has to come off for the trans cooler to be mounted.

I researched it and decided to go the in car route. I don't have an engine stand or engine lift.

Plus the part that seems to take time and be kind of a pain in the car is changing out springs and I can do that out of the car since I have to take the heads off anyway.

If you ask me, it would be a wash with the time it would take to remove and reinstall extra components and all that stuff compared to just leaving it in, there's really not all that much to this job.

Dropping the trans isn't a big deal either.

Who makes the splitter, I definitely want one, I'll have to look it up and look at it on ur car to see if it's the one I want.

Thanks man!

The front bumper is off to install the trans cooler, which is mounted behind it. The cam itself can be done without removing the bumper.

I got it from RPI designs. It looks just like the SLP one, just slightly different.
