Every Wednesday from 6-9PM... hopefully we'll be doing more on the weekends, too... but everyone has been so busy, it's tough to get everyone together. (Like "The Blue Angel" said, the Calendar is a good place to find updates for scheduled public club events.)

Did something happen, or are you adding even MORE power? (I hope it's just out of commission for an upgrade.)

After we rebuilt it I managed to make 5 passes at the track before it burnt a piston! Was running strong and was getting quicker but it looks like the stock fuel rails were not up to the task. Fountain Race Engines are rebuilding it with a new Dart next LS cast iron block that will be a little bigger, 388 ci, and a lot stronger. With the new Fore billet fuel rails my fuel issues should be behind me. Hope to be able to run at least 9.5 when I get it back.

How did that happen? Wasn't that a new build after the bearings? who was doing the build and tune.

It was a new build. 8,000 rpm redline, E85 etc. Stock rails are supposed to be good for 800+ hp. On FSPs Mustang dyno we made 810 whp and with the high rpms it looks like it ran lean. FSP was in the process of shutting down so I don't think they had the time to properly data log and tune it with all the new stuff we added. Right now waiting on pistons to be built then it will go back together. Once Mike Fountain is done it will go to Jordan racing in Ruskin to get put back together then back to the track!
