(Chevy has indicated it to be a limited production )
And I bet that they will build as many as they see (they ) can possibly sell
No more no less , they are playing a game , to creat more excitement about the Z/28 , and that's okay with me .

Last I heard GM said they will build as many as it takes to get them to the people how want them. They said only 1500 ZL1's the first year too. They built 1971 of them and would have built more if they had the time. They went right into 2013.
If the Z/28 is limited it will be because there won't be as many people who want them over a ZL1 or C7.

I just sold my ZL1 and have a deposit on a Z28. Let's hope it is priced right.

Something to look at is which dealers have Corvette Stingrays right now.

900 of the 3000 Chevrolet dealerships were given allocations for the Stingray. the remaining dealers will be given a chance to carry the line in the upcoming months.

I feel it will be a similar action with the Z/28

....ehhhhh, not to sure. There was a post today about the slumping Corvette Z06 sales and if they will make them beyond the first year. Makes sense they opened up the allocations in an attempt to boost sales after the initial allotment curtailment. Any dealership can order them now. The Z/28 will be a one off, or two off at best, with ultra low production numbers, intended... interest and sales will be in total opposite of the Vette's. If you want a Z/28 you better place your bet early on it.

They say they will be a higher price than the ZL1. I do not know why when so much taken off.

You should already know production is planned for late 1st qtr 2014? Allocations will not be out until months from now but common sense says that only large, high-volume dealers will get Z/28's. Chevy has indicated multiple times this will be a limited-production car.
They will make as many as they can sell just like the ZL1

I don't think they can build enough engines to meet full demand.
