Shop around is my MO. I don't waste time with dealers that don't want to deal. There should be fantastic deals out there on left-over '14s and '15s.

I still eMail Dealers to get a 1LE, but I'm basing what I will pay on that Black Friday pricing and the fact that '16s are on the lot meaning that they should be begging me to take a '15 off their hands. I haven't gotten a dealer to do it yet, but I don't have to buy a car, so I can wait. |

I think the issue is that GM has no 'factory' incentives anymore for a 2014. Not sure why they wouldn't come of of sticker though. That's not real smart.
Logically you would think it would be less than a '15. When I was shopping for a Z I found a dealer with a '14 & '15. The '15 was almost $15k less than the '14. Go figure. |

It seems as thought the deals on the 2015's are getting to be fewer and fewer and I agree it probably has to do with less factory incentives. Maybe they will have one more good 2015 incentive but probably only if they have quite a few nationally to move. I'm glad I got mine when I did. By spring there will mostly be 2016's at close to MSRP.

You def have to strike while the iron is hot. If you wait too long the incentives dry up and that's why you see brand new cars rotting on the lots. If a car gets the 20% and doesn't sell it'll likely be there forever.

You could check back at the end of the month, depending on where they are with units sold in terms of bonuses and pay plans, they may be more eager to move it out. It may be a long shot, but worth a try. Or you could just give the sales manager the number that would motivate you to buy and your number. Tell them you're serious, and don't call me with anything but a yes to this car at this price. You never know. Last edited by MrChrisLS3; 01-21-2016 at 11:20 PM. Right about the time this thread was opened, I bought my 2014 2SS/RS convertible with 24,500 miles on it for $28k (before taxes). It did have some issues: tires and battery were shot, needed a new HID light and a good detailing. Bought mine in Sarasota FL. Hope this helps.
