Update: My dealer called and said that there is sugar in my tank some how they tested for it. I will be without my baby for a while which sucks. What sucks even worse is the fact they will not give me a rental car because I do not have that coverage on my insurance and chevy does not deem this to be warranty work. I am without a car for gods knows when and have no idea what to do. The service guy told me that it is going to be $2400 for all the parts since i guess they found it in my injectors to. This sucks so bad. This day has not been a good one at all!!!!!!!!!!!!

My worst nightmare relived. You DID try to start your car. Cause if you didnt there is NO way it could be in the injectors.
He is quoting you parts there only. The parts ain't whats gonna hurt.
Its the Labor price. Do they cover vandalism as you did not say?
I know this is going to sound insane coming from me but I will say it.
Its just an option. If they are not going to insure the vandalism as this is exactly what this is, if you are not able to afford these repairs someone else did to your car, then have the insurance company total out your car.
A engine for your car is upwards of 5 grand...PLUS LABOR to install it.
See where I am going? If your car is not covered for this type of damage, then TOTAL the car out, count your loses and use that money they pay off to either buy you a new 2012 camaro or a NICE used 2010 camaro that you might be able to pay cash for AND have it paid off.
WIN WIN here.

I am covered thank goodness, I did start my car on the day it happened so I do not how much damage I did but I hope not much. The only problem I have is not being able to get around for a while, I have things that I have to do and get to work and I have no idea how I am going to be able to afford a rental at the moment. I also went ahead and bought a locking gas cap the same one that is listed above and I am waiting on it to come in. I hope things go well. Does anyone know where I can get a cheap rental car without breaking the bank?

5 Pounds of Sugar = $10

468 CI Big Block Chevy = $5,500

Locking Cap with key = PRICELESS

I would have been over there before they hung the phone up to show me it in the tank etc... Don't trust the STEALERS.

I went by the dealership to see what they were talking about and so did my insurance adjuster. They are going to have to order me a new fuel pump and a couple of other things. I hate that this happened to my baby, I also went ahead and put rental car insurance on my plan so if god forbid something happens I will have a rental instead of having to get rides from people. My camaro should be ready by next tuesday and I can not wait to get it back.
