i found this on the GM website: a Certified pre owned car gets the new warranty Cadillac vehicles have a warranty period of 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.

For 2003 and newer model year GM Certified Used Vehicles (Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, and Oldsmobile), the New Vehicle Limited Warranty period is 36 months or 36,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage (whichever occurs first) which includes Powertrain coverage up to 5 years or 100,000 miles (whichever occurs first).

The manufacturer's warranty period may be different for non-GM vehicles, but a 36-month or 36,000 mile warranty is the industry standard. http://www.gmprotectionplan.com/faqs.html

yes my wife will be driving the car but this is our toy car is not a daily driver so i dont expect to drive many miles.

yeah i know and the funny part the dealer sell cars on base too i wonder how many soldiers they already ripp off like that.
