This is why I don't do business with Marine Chevy. I had a bad experience with them when trying to get my camaro from them back in May 09. I instead drove an extra 30 mi ns to Safeway Chevy in Burgaw and I have had a great experience with them and where I bought my camaro Just my 2 cents...

Find a new dealer, report that one to GM... Mine doesn't care what mods I put on it, where I drive it or anything. As long as they can't pin the damage directly on the mods or racing (which I have yet to do) they will cover it. I would be willing to bet my car goes through more abuse on my morning commute every day than it would going down a drag strip a couple times.

Imagine if EVERYONE dragged race their car, you think GM would cover any damage that comes from a drag raced vehicle? No. Thats what I have always thought. After my warranty is up, sure why not. But not during the warranty.
The Marine Chevrolet is a very damn good dealer, as I've been there numerous times with my vehicle. So its not them, its you. Good luck... |

And this stated when there doesn’t need to be any work, I mean, a business saying we wouldn’t do it anyways before there’s a need is one of the most insanely stupid things I’ve ever heard.....what place scares off customers before they need the work done when there’s no need to? That shows a serious case of not caring about the customers or if they come back or not. I wonder what this guys manager thinks of his stupidity? And what proof do they have that he dragged his car? Especially with no add on’s to speak of on the car? I would say any dealer who is that jumpy to not do work is not as you say "a very damn good dealer". As far from it as you can get. Anyone bending over that far backwards, this after saying he doesn’t need any work as well, to screw over a customer that purchased a vehicle from them, with no real evidence, is not someone I would have dealings with ever. |
