The light went out for a couple days n then came back on.. I got my monthly email from on star stated that I had a engine problem an the gave me code P0008. Dealer replaced it this past Friday 12/7/12. He did warranty the part cause I am just a thousand mile out. All was well comeing home an the car was parked. It wasn't drove until Sunday night n the light came back on. On star again give me code P0008. Dealer old me this morning that it might be computer... Anyone else have this problem?? I have a similar problem. It is maybe the timing chain.
I will let you know what I am able to find out.

That code looks familiar but I don't have the meanings remembered off the top of my head lol.
If it is a timing chain issue, then I would think your dealer should have been able to see that right away since that seems to be a fairly common ordeal.

You have more than 100,000miles on your engine already? The warranty is 10/100K no?
