DIY Dying Stitching PICS

Well Ive been wanting to dye my stitching for a while now, but didnt know if it would be possible on cloth interior. But, I ran across a thread by 11SynergyGr&Bl that dyed his stitching. So, I bought this 2 Fabric pens pictured below from JoAnn fabrics (then come in every color and you can by them individually).

So, first I dampened all the stitching with a wet hand towel. Just a little damp. Then, clipped the tip of the fabric pen with scissors to make it a finer point. And, I pinched around the stitching and very slowly put the pen on each individual stitch. It took about and hour total. Then, I took a hair dryer to the stitches for another 30 min to cure, and dry them. And, thats it. 1.5 hours and $7 and you get this:

Started this project on mine yesterday but ran out of daylight and time to finish before calling it a day. Just wanted a little green inside and this works perfectly.

Thanks, I didnt even know if it could be done on cloth or not before a couple of days ago. I saw a few threads on the leather, and they all look badass.

looks great Austin...if you look at my build thread, I did this last year on cloth seats...bad thing is the fabric dye just doesn't hold up like the paint the leather seated guys are using...being my car is a daily driver, the color on the stiching on the driver's seat is gone...only good thing is for a few bucks, I can get a new pen & just redo it...lol
