I decided to join in in spite of the issues..

I picked up a certified '11 2SS vert a couple weeks ago in spite of the issues I had read on the forums. I went into my search with alot of information and insight that most of the dealers didn't have thanks to you guys. I originally wanted a ZL1 and once I discovered their own little problems I decided not to fuss with the wait and get this one and let those issues shake out over the next year.

This car is mediocre with the top up but when the top goes down it's a great experience.

The vert is made for the top down experience. There is so much added weight to this car that you have to go mod crazy to turn it into a beast. If you decide to start modding let us know and we can steer you in the right direction for warranty friendly mods, or warranty unfriendly mods.

/\/\ I was thinking an E-Force and a complete exhaust makeover would be plenty to tie me over .. I came over from the Corvette scene and still have some open wounds from modding my C6.. One thing I learned is being patient and saving up for Forced Induction.

Love the color combo...welcome.

The E-force is great and there are a lot of great exhaust options that will make your car really talk to you.

I wanted a convertible and will not pay msrp Or some dealers "market value adjustment" .. So I will wait a year for a ZL1 vert so until then I'll be satisfied with the next best thing and maybe I'll be satisfied with this one after the mods and won't feel the need for a ZL1 vert.

Congratulations and many happy miles with the top down. Hey DonutSS, if you download the 2011 Camaro Brochure from the Chevy website, your car is pictured in it, same color, same interior! Great color combination! Enjoy.

I noticed that and when I first found this car online I discovered that it was a GM promo car that was used for press days and such down in the Dallas area. I doubt it's the car used but it's twin ..
