Could use some input.
Would you guys say that these louvers for the rear and side windows would look good on a black 2011 Camaro??
http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AST10567.htm I am contemplating getting them but cannot decide if I like them, or if I they're kind of weird haha, I am really iffy on it right now! Could use some input! |

I'm going to say no. But then again i've never been a fan of that look. If I see a Camaro or Mustang that has them it's a complete turn off.

Doesn't look too bad,but I must say that I've seen way too many Mustangs with the side window louvers, which would definitely deter me from purchase.

I am actually kind of feeling that way, but then there is a part of me that thinks maybe just a little I like it. I am very bitter sweet about it right now.

The look grew on me, its okay but i wouldn't do it only because it would limit your view which is already limited lol. Good luck backing out of a parking space with those side louvers blocking your view. (thats if you pull in the parking space)

They just remind me too much of the fastback. Window tint will keep you interior just as or more so protected if you were going for functionality.

Personally, I would go with a Side Window Scoop, instead....

I'm not really a fan of them in general, but I'd really need to see them on a Camaro in person to decide.
ps - is your black Camaro named 'blue'?

Visibility shmizashmility those portholes are worthless anyways. I thought about it but considering I see only mustangs with them and also how those plastic pieces are that expensive I decided no go.

Ok... so I wasn't sure how rear window louvers would look on the Camaro... But I went ahead and let MRT use my Camaro to prototype their rear window louver...
Much to my surprise, they turned out FANTASTIC! I think they looked and flowed better on Camaro than they did on my Mustang.... The MRT's are hinged for easy cleaning... Even made a silly little video! (wow, i made this video exactly 2 years ago!!! July 5th, 2010 LOL)
