Recently bought a 2013 Camaro ZL1 in Victory Red! I bought the car in Concord North Carolina just north of Charlotte. It's pretty NASCAR heavy here and I wouldn't doubt that the signature might be a driver, but I can't recognize the autograph when compared. The dealership suggested that it was the 5th generation designer, but I cannot find a signature to compare that either. Are there any 1st owners out there that have this as well? Does anyone recognize the signature? No one I know can figure it out.

Couldn't you have the dealership you bought the car from contact the previous owner for you to find out?? Id think they might be able to, or do a vin check to see who registered the car before you.

Right well I wasn't sure how intrusive I should be about it... I suppose I figured if someone grazed the forums that recognized it right off as either a signature on plenty of ZL1's in 2013 or someone famous then there I go. Otherwise that is an option...

Could it be Scott settlemeir? If I spelt it right. I have a hot wheels car signed by him. I can check it out tonight

Wow I googled a photo and it looks similar enough to probably be the one. That was a quicker answer than I expected.

That is Scott Settlemair's "Signature", signature. I have it on my 69 when he attended the Norwood Reunioun 2 years ago. Super nice and friendly guy.

Him at the Invitational in white shirt.

He rolled in with a 2014 Convertible

Yes, that is Scott Settlemire signature. He and many of the GM folks will sign the shock towers. Here is Scott signing mine for me. The other photo shows many of those signatures I mentioned.

It is signed on the shock towers similar to how the other pictures are showing.

Pretty neat signature to have on the car for sure!

My car in the picture above is Scotts mother signing my car. If not for her, Scott would not be here to sign yours. LOL. She is awesome and still drives a Camaro!

Very COOL. I had a feeling it was Scott's mother. He has spoken to me about her and that she owns and drives a Camaro.
