Adding weight to the back is really only bad on a front wheel drive

But true, I guess it's not needed as much in a RWD with the weight spread out as much...

I personally disable any kind of traction control and ESC whenever I get in a vehicle that has them... It messes me up, lol.

I am on track to order my car next week. Not from edmonton though, my local dealer can get it. I called several places around edmonton and calgary and they all quote basically the same price so this works for me. I can't wait to finally put the order in, then the real waiting begins!!

Congrats!!!

How the hell are you gonna get it home through the snow and into the driveway??? those summer tires are not gonna do the job....sucks that the first driving experience has to be in this garbage weather.

but still happy for you

Right on!! I'm very excited to hear about your new ride soon. Let us know how it does on its first day on the road. BTW, I'm still on my summer tires and it seems ok.

On another note, I have a leak in my rear back tire which I need to get fixed tomorrow so its off to kal-tire to get it fixed.

Thanks all - i am sure it will be worth the wait - can't help but be a tad excited ...although it's going to sit in the garage until spring....

Bluch - not a clue.....the roads are mostly ok.....but anything off the main roads is just rutted and horrible - I'm sure i will find a way!
