Who is interested in a full width ZL1 front chin spoiler protector? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Since I only had my ZL1 about a week before I scraped the underside of the front Splitter/Chin Spoiler, I have been working on a design for a product to keep the factory part from getting torn up. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, and functional as well.

This will be a full width lower protection piece, not just a small piece of plastic rub strip. We have designed a paper and a rigid plastic template for test fitting. We now have electronic files and drawings at a local supplier that will be cutting one from Aluminum for my car in a couple days. They will also be quoting production pricing for larger quantities, and I am trying to get a feel for how many ZL1 owners would be interested in such a product. Obviously, the more interest, the lower it should make the cost.

If there is enough interest, we will probably do a first run special price for the first 10 or so showing interest. Once the initial supply has been sold, we will be adding them to our website at the regular price.

Please let me know who is interested in this, and any suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated.

I will keep a list in this thread of those interested so they are included in the special pricing once they are available.
