If you total it out don't try to bring it back. Pull the engine, tranny, and anything else you want out of it and leave it for dead.

Check my build thread/associated threads on what NOT to do with your car on a 1/4 mile.

32K miles and she was toast body wise. Spent close to 11K bringing it back and it's still not right. All while I still owed 5K on the car.

In hindsight I should have gutted it and bought a 3rd gen roller GTA that was plan B at the time. Driveline and rear was worth 5K easy.
