Is this the correct DRL harness for a 2011 SS?
My friend has a V8 SS and he wants the same DRL harness like my 2010 V8 SS so his lower running lights run while his headlights are on.
http://www.overridemotorsports.com/DRL - Is this the correct harness? If so, can I assume it will work on his 2011 V8 SS? that harness is the same as mine but I don't know if anything changed with the 2011 models.

that does look like one of them that works. I "think" this is the one that causes issues after time because it lacks a diod (or something????).
The #1 harness out there is one by a former forum member "fieldgoal". I think he is on moderncamaro.com now. It is more expensive but I am told by those that are electronic smart that it is worth the price. Alternative #3 is the one you can get for about $10 but is simply wires you splice into it..... even worse than the first choice above. Anyway.... I've done lots of research on this and the above is what I learned. I recommend finding fieldgoal.

You shouldn't have any probs unless you switch to an LED type bulb. And then it will only be a prob if the power is still being taken from a source that still has PWM. I believe this part (looks like the Adaptive part) takes its power from the running light circuit which has no PWM...
I have had mine on for many months now AND I have LED bulbs, no failures so far.

Fieldgoal's partner is selling his harnesses in the sponsors for sale section. Just FYI

Any status updates with this? After reading the description of this it seems like it does what I want. It leaves the sidemarkers off and allows me to have the fogs on with the halos or full lights. I DO NOT want my halos to come on automatically or HAVE TO run my halo/fog at the same time during the day. I want full control over my halos, just like i have now. Halos and fogs are for dawn & dusk only for me, not bright and sunny in the afternoon.
