i would have never imagined this stab at foolery would still get hits a month later! big fun for all!

Why oh Why?
Windshield=10" vertical
mirror= 3 7/8" (that's almost 4") vertical
that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....

Zora was driving the 1957 Corvette S/S Race car --

....and you're correct on the quote -- other than his retort was -- "No -- it's a SUPER Sport Car!...."

...........that stuck in the minds of a few people at Chevrolet -- and the first "Super Sport" production car was offered on the 1961 Impala. Tidbit: you could even order the SS package on a 4-door hardtop!
