Odd question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

This is a really peculiar question I know, but for some reason the second beep on my car alarm has stopped working. It's kind of hard to explain, but you know how whenever you lock your car, 2 horn beeps happen in quick succession, like, "beepbeep?" Well, for some reason, now my car has been making only one beep when I lock the car. I know this is an odd problem, but it's kind of been bothering me. Does anyone know any ways I can fix it? Is one of my horns out?

Usually, that means that something isn't closed....like a door is still opened. When I set my alarm and everything is closed, I get beep beep. If I press it again, I get one beep.

If something is open, or a door is cracked, I get only one beep.

Thanks Tag = D! I went outside as soon as you posted that and checked everything and realized that my trunk was cracked, but not enough for the light to come on so I never paid it any mind. I opened it all the way then shut it, then locked it and then came the "Beep beep!" Thanks a bunch, it's really been bothering me.

Alright, I have another peculiar question: do you know where I might be able to find a replacement side defrost vent cover? The ones on the side on the A Column? Also a replacement back seat belt plastic cover (the plastic part that is the grip for seat belt)? Both of those broke, and I need replacements :(, so if anyone knows where I can find a ton of OEM parts I would greatly appreciate it = ).

Your local salvage yard can be a gold mine for those odd parts like the plastic for the seat belt and side defrost vent cover, that is where I found mine.
