Ok. I ordered my 2010 Camaro early August and I do have a TPW of 9/7/09. Ever since I ordered my car, I've been seeing alot of Camaros, especially on I-495. Thats cool and all, I even like seeing them on the road more and more but now I am seeing them in my area and it just kills me that by the time I get mine it will be too cold or bad out to even enjoy it. I thought I would be the first or one of the first in my area to have one.

Two instances that happened this week that made me a little angry. Sunday, I was gassing up my gas guzzler (Ford Bronco) and I saw a black one with red stripes. It looked cool but I never knew I would see on in my area (near Andrews Air Force Base). The other instance was two days ago I was going to the gym. I was in the right lane and guess what pulls up in the left lane. A CGM SS. When the light turned green, the guy hesitated, then sped off. I can't wait to get my car, lol.

Any of you guys that are waiting for their Camaro are feeling the way I'm feeling?

I have yet to see any in my area i am hopping to be the first one.

I committed to buy mine in December, 2007 from a dealer friend who promised me that I would be the first of his customers to get one. My order went in on 10/22/2008. I finally got the car on 8/15/2009 from a different dealer. (That's a long story...)

During the long wait, I dreaded the day I would see one. One day in May, one passed me on 495. At the time, my order status was still at 1100, and I had no good information about why. I was quite depressed. So, I know your feeling.

Nonetheless, mine finally came in and all past angst was forgotten.

It is unbelievable how much attention these cars get. Yesterday, two different drivers were taking pictures of my car, one driving at 65 MPH on 95 South just north of 495.

I predict that your car will still be an attention-getter in October and you will feel the same. Having your TPW date is a huge step and there is light at the end of the tunnel. It will be here before you know it!

Happens to everyone that ordered..just can't wait to get it, be first to own one in the area, etc...

People that ordered last year, but seen others buy off the lots first, were pretty upset as well..

..just be patient..you'll be happy when you get yours.

It is tough when you get into the waiting game. I had only seen a few when I ordered mine, but whithin a week I had seen four of them, one being the exact color I ordered. It is amazing how in tune you are with looking for them and when you see them. I just can't wait to move off of 1100, which should be today or tomorrow and get towards getting a TPW. Yours will be here before you know it. As far as not being able to enjoy it, not like we are in upstate new york or anything. The weather around here stays nice for so long you should be able to enjoy it for awhile after you get it.

There was a IBM 2SS that had white rallys that my dealer told me about when I ordered my 2SS RS but I wanted black rallys and the RS package. Will you be driving it during the winter?

Its kinda surprising how quick you pick up seeing them on th road. I pulled up beside an IOM with white painted on rallys yesterday on RT 17. Guy and his wife were totally shocked when I honked and gave him a thumbs up. He followed me down 17 which was cool. He didn't know about camaro5 so maybe he will join us soon. You'll get yours soon dude. Just have to be patient. Best of luck. CRUZN-SS

I still can't believe all the early orders aren't filled yet. What VIN# are they up to now???

When I get mine it will be my daily driver. If it snows or gets icy, it will probably be a work from home day. I have pretty good flexibility with my job so I will use it.

YESSS. I pass a black one every Tuesday-Friday in the morning. Its a girl who drives it and I can't help but think to myself every morning I see her pass by...lucky b**ch. jk. She was a little late this morning I noticed.

I went all the way to Georgia to get mine. I towed it back on a trailor. I got it on 8 Aug 09. I was driving on Interstate 66, near Hwy 28 when a guy in a Silver ZO6 Corvette pulled up next to me to check the car. He gave me a thumbs up. Felt pretty good about that.

Mine was built on 8/06/09, delivered on August 15th. VIN is 33352.
