Squeaking in suspension after Hotchkis install

I just installed new struts (Koni Str.T) and Hotchkis TVS Stage 1 kit on my 2011 SS this weekend. Ever since the install I have heard a squeaking from the front(and possibly rear) suspension whenever I go over a bump. It was installed by me an a buddy, who is a certified automotive tech at a big dealership here, without a who lot of issues. the only thought I have on the issue is that in the Hotchkis kit there was no grease, and we forgot to grease the bushings on the swap bars after installing them.

My question is, would it make sense to hear the squeaking from the sway bar bushings not being greased when going over bumps? I already have grease coming so i can grease them properly this weekend but wanted to check to ensure there is nothing else to double check.

I grease them up and it still squeaks a bit over bumps but I figure it is just the price for performance

Light grease when you install, and then grease thru the grease fitting provided.

+1

With out greasing those bushings, they are pretty much just going to be dry and with the painted sway bars it causes a bit of friction which is why you might be getting the squeaking.

Best of luck on the quick fix!!

Thank you,
Ricardo

I appreciate the responses. I figured that they just needed greased but wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking another issue as well.

thanks again guys
