Basically, your re-booting the ECU. It goes back to the default parameters and then, as your drive, it re-learns the condition of the car. Might just be that it learned city driving and needs to be taught performance again. I'd plan on at least being able to drive it 50 miles or so after the reset before you go to the track.... This might help or it might not... these new ECUs are smarter than us sometimes! hehe!

What do you guys mean by flashing the torque convertor?

I've made my runs on my GTech by loading up, around 2k, TC on, and launching. Get a bit of wheelspin, but not much.

According to the GTech, I'm about a full second slower then you guys, but trap speed is high 95, low 96 mph. Of course, this is on a back country road, not a groomed launch pad, lol.

Anyway, let me know. I get the launching at idle, by I'm lost with the flashing of the convertor part.

It just means that the TC goes to a slightly higher RPM when you just hit the throttle and launch. Loading the TC stalls it at a lower RPM and seems to make the car bog off the line some.

I had the JBA shorties installed yesterday so I did a quick 0-60 with the Matrix today. Now I don't believe the accelerometer is accurate but it seems consistant, so a good baseline none the less. Out of 30+ runs the best it ever showed was 4.98 once in 40* weather. The rest were between 5.01 and 5.4 in temps between 45-60* Anyway, this is what it showed today in cold weather.

Just the one on my wrist watch. Yes, I can pick up one and give it a try.

I don't question the timer built into the Matrix, I just think it may complete the test a little before actually hitting 60 mph. Just a feeling.

...Yes I think it stops at app.58mph not 60mph. But otherwise I find it consistent, so it's a good tool to see what difference ( if any) a mods makes.
Ofcourse the DA plays a much larger roll than any mod.will..........

Sorry man, I was posting from my phone and it would't let me add a smiley! I was JK!

If it's finishing early, you can tweak the weight to adjust it in some.

No, I think a stop watch is in order, just need the wife to operate it. That ain't happening, too much weight in the car.

I kid, the wife is a fine lady!

Yes, the GMPP exhaust is probably a little less aggresive than other set ups I've listened to but I'm happy with the choice. I've never had any raspiness although a little drone is present in some rpm's

I've only driven about 15 miles today but can say the exhaust note is a little deeper/lower with the JBA's and that's a good thing.
