The ignition chime plays through the front left speaker(s) rather than it's own little unit inside the dashboard like on older vehicles.

Yup. It's a Chevy thing... I figure that out when I started have issues with that speaker on my 2005 Suburban. Music did not sound right, then I noticed the chimes did not sound correct either... turned out to be a loose connection inside the door.

Push the lever down and the wheel move in and out, plus up and down.

All 5th gens do this. My first one was built in June of 2009, #22209 off the line, and it had tilt and telescope.

The thought process from Chevy is that you do not need Fog lights if you have HID head lights.!?
So I believe there is a thread where this is discussed. If I find it I will post it.
The NON-RS have fogs, the RS have DRL... it's doesn't matter if it's SS (V8) or LT (V6).

Agree. But then you can't sleep for a few nights after you pick it up either, so......

I have an R6P built in April of 2009 and it has tilt and telescoping steering wheel. They all have it.

Top Speed in my SS

I have had my 2010 SS to 168 twice. Once before my supercharger and once after. There was still pedal, but I could not get it to continue accelerating.

Well since your warranty is already shot, maybe you should have the governor tuned out then
