New Camaro in Hawaii 5-0 series!!!! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I don't know if some of you ever watched the old Hawaii 5-0 series, but the new modern Hawaii 5-0 series is due out this fall. And I am stoked. For those that do not know about Hawaii 5-0, it was sort of a special unit of the Honolulu Police Department (HPD). Now being an officer in HPD now, it was kinda cool finding out that Hawaii 5-0 was coming out again. Not only was this my favorite show back in the day, but now they are gonna use the 2010 Camaro in the series. I thought it was cool and found a link to a trailer preview. Hope this works.

Looks awesome, I hope we get to see it here in NZ, that Camaro looked to have had some blue LED cop lights in the grile, I hope they don't destroy it for the show. You a member of HPD? Have you been involved with the filming, seen camera crews around, been an extra or have they left you alone completely.

I'm an 18 year veteran of the department but have not been involved in the filming but there are and will be real officers as extras. I work in another district but still it is cool to see our patrol cars on screen and hopefully they will film in the area that I patrol like maybe a chase scene or something.

In the original, McGarrett always drove a black Lincoln sedan, I think. NIce upgrade.

Another Camaro on Hawaii 5-0 appeared last night. In addition to the silver RS that McGarrett and Dano drive around in, Dr. Max Bergman (Masi Oka) drove up in his new yellow SS with his "WARP9" license plate and very proud of his new car. There was also a little banter on what he had to sell to get the new wheels. Hope to see more of Dr. Max and the new ride. Previews for next week show a car theme. Everyone needs to check it out....

ugh. the silver one is a 2LT/RS... RS is NOT a model

On a side note, did anyone else catch the exchange between Masi Oka and Greg Grunberg (guest star tonight) ? .... they were both on Heroes together... Oka says "don't I know you from somewhere" LOL

I was just going with the badging. I don't have the RS package on my SS, so it's just a forgetful bad habit.
