How long will an average camaro 5th gen last?

I was wondering how long or how many miles on average one can ride a camaro 5th gen before it starts having too many problems to drive around?

I am sure somebody else already has asked... But I am genuinely curious

Well it really depends on what you consider too many problems to keep driving it around. I have seen people driving cars with parts falling off, smoking and knocking, and the windows that won't operate. So like I said how many problems are you willing to put up with?

One thing is... I always treat mine very nicely but then I can never stop the crazy acceleration, speeding, and rough turns...

Wouldn't this lead to shorter life expectancy for the transmission and such?

Well... I mean... exterior wise, I could always replace parts or get new paint jobs... but if electric parts, engine, or transmission starts breaking down, I would try my best to fix all vital parts at least.

If the repair starts costing over 20k, It would be time for her to go

You can repair/ replace a lot for 20K...

I am hoping I never have to buy another car in my lifetime.

You can keep a car running forever if you just replace what breaks and keep up with the repairs.

There's people with Camaros they bought new in 1969 that they still drive daily. Granted, they've had around 3-5 engine/tranny rebuilds over the course of its lifetime, but still. Same car, same owner - still impressive.

I have seen someone on here that has over 90,000 miles and has had no major problems. If that's an indication of life expectancy, I am excited!

Most of them will die horrible deaths eventually. Those few well kept will live to be classic stars in around 40-50 years from now.
