First dyno run ... put down 402 according to the lethal racing dyno. That is a huge number for stock. Will take more testing to see if this car is some kinda factory freak. It was a fun day none the less.

Plastidiped the mirrors today.

I wipe it down with a prep solvent. A degreaser and wax stripper . Then mask. Used some old towels to catch over spray. Which is a snap to clean up with this stuff.

The concept 1LE had black mirrors.

Came out nice. Not perfect but a good test. If I like it I will get em painted along with the hood at some point.

Finished product.

Looks better than I would have expected. Hopefully the plastidip is durable.

I like it.

That's what I thought too. I use this plastidip for a 3D Photoshop. I will run a few weeks with it. If i like the look enough I will have the pieces painted.

I'm liking the blacked out mirrors. Gives it an added bad@ss element to it. Are you planning to buy black lug nuts or will you just plastidip the stock ones? Car is looking great. If you do have those areas that you have plasitidipped painted, will you be going with the same matte finish or something that will be easier to maintain? I'm thinking a low gloss black finish when I get my car, hopefully that it will be easy to maintain and not worry as much like a matte finish. Keep up the great work

If painted it will be the same as the wheel finsh. I guess you call that satin?

Added the front zl1 extensions today.

To fit the SS front fascia you have to trim off this piece.

I just used a sharp kitchen knife, yeah I am bachelor so what?!

Also have to drill a couple of holes, no big deal the plastic is VERY soft.

These pieces also come with the 3M tape so you'll have to make sure you clean the surface I use this stuff.

You have to crank the wheel to get access to the three screws holding the bottom of the wheel well lining.

The piece goes between the wheel well lining and the front fascia.

Finished product. The fit is pretty good but not perfect. I like it!!

Thanks. Think they were like 25 bucks a piece.
