From what I gather in talking to the Sales Manager at the rather LARGE dealership I'm working with, that to get a ZL1 allocation, they have to sell a certain volume of every automobile that Chevy makes from the VOLT to the ZR1. Each allocation is based on satisfying those basic requirements. The more they sell, the more ZL1s they can order. It seems that they are limited to approximately ONE per MONTH at BEST... & that's AFTER selling a LOT of vehicles across a broad spectrum.

DeSantis Chevrolet in Brockton Mass is big and sells a lot of cars. They had the red promotion camaro convertibles fleet cars dropped off at their dealership and off to the Patriots place for test driving. I think they are the biggest Chevy Dealer in New England. Great too.
That would be cool to meet at a show. The club I'm in does lots of them a year and I plan to be at as many as I can, I just need to get my car first..

I've been at 1100 since 10/31/11. I found out today that my dealer has a camaro allocation for March 1st. Hopefully this is when I will get picked up and can join one of the other clubs.

Just curious, but if we don't get our allocation by the time the 2012 MY ends will the order roll into the 2013 MY? Or do we have to reorder and get back in line?
Not to say we haven't all been waiting long enough...lol

I believe you will have to resubmit your order.

Joe, what happened to #3 at the Buffalo dealer?

My local dealer called and verified he got an allocation, so I ordered through them. I was first on their list and they only got one allocation. I didn't think it would take this long to get my order picked up though..

I don't understand why you guys haven't been picked up.
I ordered on 1-31-12 and am at 3000 and schuled for a week of 3-12 build cycle. came directly from GM. and my dealer only got 1 allocation in the 3rd order cycle.
