  • How the heck did you manage to build this car for this price when vehicles of similar performance cost 2 to 4 times as much?
Did you just ask for a price increase ? HaHaHa

Maybe we as American tax payers could give them a few more billion and get a Recaro seat option with a car built in Canada. Did I just say that? Sorry. I still love the car.

Most people don't know about the 1969 ZL-1's, so why was the name "ZL-1" chosen?
Where are the build sheets for the cars? How do we decipher the build sheet?
Is there going to be a Z/28 model?

Yea but companies like ALPINE are making in-dash systems already with touch screens and they look OEM and are very nice (Alpine's should be released this Summer) so I don't see why GM couldn't design something similar "in-house". I would seriously like to know from Tom or Al why this wasn't pursued as part of the overall interior package on a ZL1...remember the main competition (the GT500) has a Factory Nav unit and it's pretty decent quality.

I believe it has been confirmed since the intro last year that the ambient light on the door panels is red.

I haven't read the other thread yet, but is this faster response time for the paddle shifting able to be done to the SS? I read a bit about it and it sounded like it was something they could do by hooking it up to the computer and loading the new software.

I could be wrong but I think it's a bit more complicated than that. They were talking about fluid filling the next clutch in preparation of the next shift up. I'm not sure if our current SS does that or not.

They also made a point to say it was only a software change they made, and that the plan was to apply this technique to all paddle-shifted autos in the company in the next couple of model years...A good question!

Thanks guys, lookin' good!
