Whats it take to get 500 rwhp in a L99

Seen a few threads about 500 HP in a M6 , but what's it take to hit that mark in a L99. I'm sitting at 461 rwhp. With a relatively small cam compared to the NF and have a SDPC port/CNC job, UDP, ported Im and tb and 1 7/8 header. Just curiosity got the best of me.

More Compression, more cam, IMHO I'd go with a FAST 102 and 102 tb if you can't swing the TB don't bother. Those SDPC heads should be up to the task to get you there.

I say a specd cam from a valve train expert like Ed Curtis or Brian Tooley bud.

I called the shop earlier. Gonna go for 11.5 compression and a custom grind big cam.
I guess I could sale my ported intake and ported tb.

I think it will take more than that unless its a pure race cam. I think it will take the above mods plus a converter that can be locked up on the dyno or more displacement or a blower.

I'd like an answer to this as well...

Think Rhino is above that? Anyone else? Anyone with VVT delete that did it?

Got the stall covered.

40 more HP over what I have can't be to hard. Lol. I take it this hadn't been accomplished or rare to accomplish.

So you did VVT delete and you are at 470? Nice. Are your heads milled now? Do you have an UDP?

I had mine done at a mustang dyno and only hit 420 a guy with the same setup as me (except stage 2 heads,a 229/236 cam, and cat less) hit 408 and stated that he had hit 464 at phasteks dyno jet. So my guess would be at a dyno jet to be 470+. And no milling yet just basic stage 1 p&p and no UDP as well.

If you are at 470 you could mill and UDP and probably be right at 500 without doing anything else...that's awesome.
