Video of my stock 1LE at VIR
Well the day came to use the car as intended. It took me a bit to get used to the car as it is so different from my Evo X. However, towards the end of the weekend we really began to click. I'm going back next month and am positive I will lower my time. The Boss 302 in the vid is my dad. Even though he gives me a wave by, we were very even throughout the weekend and I'd have to say if he put his head down, he could do a lap 1 to 2 seconds faster. Not because of the car but because he pushes more in certain areas I'm slooowly building my confidence. The only upgrade on this car is brake pads.

My favorite tracking memories are mixing it up with friends that run similar lap times, must be cool to have that guy be your dad!
Man, VIR is gorgeous, like a country club. We have some amazing tracks here in CA but just brown grass and dirt surrounding them. I hope to get a chance to track VIR one day.

Nothing beats tracking with your old man. Nice bid. Looks like pops was hitting late apexs in a lot of the corners.

Nice laps, going back to VIR in June, looks like the new pavement is sticky and they added some new gators and some run off space. Great track for the 1LE, can really stretch the legs. You can rent the villas and sleep right at the track. Awesome facility.

Thanks everyone. It really is a great facility. Those upper esses are the butt clencher of the track...you can't feel it in the video, but it just feels like the car is going to come out from underneath you in the transitions. The new pavement makes a lot of tire noise, but has a lot more grip which takes getting used to. There is some new FIA curbing in addition to the existing curbing which makes it interesting if you try to cut corners or drift too wide. This is a great car, I just have to get used to it's immense front end grip, even on the oem Goodyears.
