When we stop to fill up we can do it in a location that has numerous stations. I can just picture the attendants face... When 60 Camaros stop by just to fill up with premium. They might not have enough at one stop.

I will look to fill up in Uniontown PA, which should get us to Dayton w/o another refill until we pull in. This should be between 280 and 320 miles each. Sections could break off as well and catch up if they need to get gas due to running out.

I average about 22 to 24 hwy, so I will be on the lower side and need gas earlier than some. For the most part we will all be pretty similar.

As far as food, we are set to eat in Uniontown Pa. I blocked 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the time we roll in. This should give us the ability to step out, relax and get to know each other. I would rather not eat as I drive as well. I am ok with small snacks since I have kids and they will be with me.

Why Exxon?

I work in the retail end of the petroleum industry doing compliance testing, safety inspections, etc. It's a combination between how well they treat their infrastructure in addition to added detergents and just better all around fuel quality. That being said, Exxon-Mobil corp. is no longer in the retail business and has sold off all of their stations, so as far as infrastructure, that will begin to vary based on the individual owners (generally varies area by area).

I never put anything but Mobil 93 in the SS locally but when on extended trips I use whatever
I can find as long as it's premium 93 octain.
When I was in Canada the only thing I could find was 91. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Oh yeah,no problem if you fill up here in Uniontown you can definitely make it to Dayton,I do it all the time (IE-make it out on one tank)

I tell you what else I can do,I can call these stations the day before you guys come through, and ask them if they have any idea how full their premium tanks are.

Thanks MS3DALE!

I know we will need to fill up at numerous stations in Uniontown, so we can make it to Dayton. You might want to warn them ahead of time to fill up on the 93 for the 1st of August.

Just a reminder to all traveling with our group, get a pair of motorola or cobra radio's. You can talk & keep up with info being passed along during trip. Also, if you need to stop, group knows why. Not needed to make trip, but a lot more fun if you have one. Run around $30 to $50.
