Just called the hotel and there are no rooms left.

Just tried to buy tickets and the system is down.

Guess I'm not suppose to go.

We have 15 rooms and they certainly are not all booked. I'll check into it and post back

edit: There are still plenty of rooms available. There was a new desk clerk on last night that likely wasn't aware of the contract. Be sure and tell them 'UpstateC5 Car Club" to get the rate. If there is still an issue ask to speak to Deanna Lockwood. She is available during the day.

Called back this morning and booked a room without any problems, the guy last night didn't know what he was talking about. I'll also be getting 2 tickets for the track once it opens at 9:00 if the system is back up.

edit - Ordered 2 tickets for myself and my wife (Sue), this will be her first automotive event since we attended the initial Toronto Molson Indy in 1986.

Heard from John Fitzpatrick over the weekend and a Z28 is a long shot as he says they only have the one that was at the NY Auto Show. Hopefully they'll send us something, but indications are Chevy's involvement this year will be pretty lean in anticipation of the merger for next year. Also, heard that this race is the only one on the schedule for next year in the northeast, so that can only grow the event.
